Old Master Reproductions Paintings

I love to paint, I have to paint, it is a compulsion with me. I love the elegance and flamboyancy of the paintings of yesteryear.

All the great portrait painters. Renoir, Velazqueth, Van Dyke, Ingres, Reynolds, Ruebens etc are my joy. I learn by trying to emulate them to the best of my ability , endevouring to achieve their level of perfection.

Sometimes these paintings are not to everyone´s taste, but to me they are a joy and a pleasure every time I look at them. I could never aspire to possessing the real thing but these reproductions are a good substitute.

They require meticulas draughtsmanship, painting and finishing, taking many many hours, and in my opinion, well worth the time and effort required.
